900 Mhz wireless security camera help?

Share

I have a 900 Mhz Remington wireless security camera. I also have a mini 2.4 Ghz spy camera. What I am trying to do is use my receiver (It’s a Hamy KY-1.2 GR receiver) to catch the 900 Mhz Remington wireless security camera so I can see it on my tv. The receiver has a tuner knob.

I can find the mini 2.4 Ghz camera’s signal but not the 900 Mhz one. How can I find the 900 Mhz signal? Can I use a tv antenna? I can’t find it with this receiver and don’t want to buy anything right now. Thanks.

The receiver you have is made for 2.4 GHZ (that’s 2400MHZ) it has a range of about 2.405 – 2.498 (+/-). The 900 MHZ camera transmits in to low a frequency for the 24.GHZ receiver to pick it up. You might try an older portable TV (one with the tunable channels) the older ones may go close enough to 900 MHZ to see the picture.
