I recently bought a mini TV for use in my car and I want to somehow hook up a surveillance camera to the same TV, both being ran out of my car. Could that camera be converted to a wireless device???

Simple answer is yes.
Conditional response is why?
Do a yahoo or google search for "wireless composite video transmitter". You will find that they fall into 2 camps.
1. Big and Bulky but cheaper ($125).
2. Small and compact and more costly ($395)
Other problems. Noise and interference. Could be a problem with certain cell phones depending on the frequency of the transmitter & signal strength. You won’t know until you try it.
Save yourself some time, installation headaches, money and have a Auto stereo shop/store wire up the cam for you. Cost you less than the transmitter.
