Can anyone recommend a good camera for home security?

Share

I am certain someone is coming in my home when I’m asleep and at work, but have no way to prove this. I woke up last night to someone running out of my bedroom but have no idea how they got in or out of my house. Unless I can prove this is happening people are going to start doubting my credibility. I need a good surveillance camera to put in my home preferably one that works in the dark and doesn’t have any visible lights so that the intruder doesn’t realize he’s being filmed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

That’s a scary thing – thinking someone is invading your space while you are not around. I think it’s a very good idea to get a home security camera in your place. I would check out the home cameras at, http://www.spytown.com/ I think the best bet for you would be one of those convert spy cameras, this way, whomever is entering your bedroom while you’re not around, would never know that you have a spy camera in the room. That site has some really great spy cameras. I think this picture frame camera, http://www.spytown.com/picframcam1.html would do the trick for you. Not only can you use this as an actual frame and clock, but also as a recording camera. Hope this helps!

    Wow – that is scary.

First, before purchasing a security camera, you need to secure your home from this intruder, and for general safety. Place internal locks on all doors and windows, and make sure they are locked before you go to bed. They shouldn’t be able to enter your home in the first place!

Now, regarding a security camera… covert spy cams, such as clock, motion detector or fire alarm cameras, are good for spying on things like this, but most require external recording devices (DVRs). (See: http://bit.ly/2vidAj) A few, like this motion detector camera, can record onto an SD card, though, and that might be perfect for you: http://bit.ly/ckLm7m

If you would like to setup multiple cameras to continually monitor your residence, I would suggest grabbing a standalone DVR and having your home wired up with 4 or so cameras. See – DVRs: http://bit.ly/aQ9l3F and other Security Cameras: http://bit.ly/5Yb1CA.

Hope that helps, and like I said – I would first concentrate on making your home secure and possibly having someone monitor it personally from the outside or inside to catch this creep.

    Good luck!
