Do you agree with Ron Paul that a state run camera would eliminate crime in every home?

Yet what will we be giving up? We cannot give up liberty for security and our privacy has been beaten down since the 70’s so its time to raise the bar. Ron Paul was against domestic surveillance and Obama’s expansion of it. Go Ron Paul 2012!!!!!

I agree with the point he is making.

Liberals just love to project interest in Sarah Palin and Ron Paul on Republicans, and then they turn around and claim that Janeane Garofalo and Sean Penn are too radical to represent them. Hypocrites, the lot of ’em.

While it’s true, we can’t give up our right to privacy, yet if we had surveillance in every PUBLIC place, we would not be giving up that right, and it would drastically reduce crime

It would no way eliminate crime on our streets but it may act as a deterrent of sorts. Privacy rights still come into play with this issue and I don’t think anything like this would happen unless we had another event similar in catastrophe to 9/11. Then there is the cost of a program of this nature. We can’t afford to educate our youth or support our current over burdening prison population so I can’t see where it would make sense to add more cost, more burden on our courts and legal system, and another round of being stripped of our Constitutional rights and liberties.

I like Ron Paul and haven’t heard him pushing a domestic surveillance agenda but he would loose my vote if this were the case. Right now there is not one individual that I would vote for nor trust to run our country.

That’s panopticism. A camera in every home would eliminate crime but we would lose our freedom.

Ron Paul 2012? Why couldn’t he be about 20 years younger?
