how can I make inexpensive home made surveillance for halloween props?-?

Share

We decorate for halloween for the little children around here-They enjoy it so much.
However, The mood is ruined with the older brats, The little bastards(even some young adults) will steal anything in broad daylight !!!(they will walk right up and take what they want, as long as they are not caught)— How can we combat this>?
We would really like to continue decorating but we are sick of losing money each year with vandals and thieves. any ideas? We have one outdoor camera already.

wow..I’m sorry that this is happening..try calling the police department to let them know what is going on..call the non emergency unit..and request that police observe your area more..perhaps you can file a complaint this will cover you in all areas..that way if you catch anyone..it will already be on file that you have reported this..maybe keep a log of you calling write down the officers name date time..and also you can write down all the incidents..post a sign in your yard that says no trespassing and no loitering state that you will prosecute.

and you could give them a real treat..put out a few new items..add things inside them..like spoiled rotten nasty food..so when they are running it will leak all over them..i mean this is gross..but i would rather do that than your temper flares and some one gets hurt..

    blessings & huggies …

happy halloween..i hope all works out for you.

Don’t put out anything you can’t bear to part with.

Put chains on items you don’t want to walk away.

Limit access to your yard by putting up a fence.

The camera’s a good start, but it clearly hasn’t helped that much. I once had a 200lb cement fountain stolen from my front yard while I was at work. I now only put out my Halloween decorations when I am home and watching, which means I bring them inside each night.
