i bought a new CCTV camera security system from ebay and i tried turning on the dvr on today i plugged everything in like in the directions but when i try to view the DVR on a monitor or TV it says no signal i tried vga and video output and all the screens say no signal it is a 320 gb DVR please help me ?????????????????????????????????????
A few things to check out.
First, make sure your monitor is plugged into a composite output, or your monitor is plugged into the VGA output. DVR’s have tons of inputs/outputs and it’s easy to get them mixed up.
The second thing to verify is that the DVR setup is set to output to the appropriate port. Sometimes you need to do a software setup and reboot to get the output going.
Last thing to do is check the cable – it could be a bad one!
